The Northwestel Festival of Trees will host an online silent auction this November! From Thursday, November 21, until Saturday, November 30, 2024, you will have the opportunity to bid on many items donated by Yukon businesses and support the Yukon Hospital Foundation.
How can you help? Showcase your business by donating an item, gift certificate, experience, or unique service to the auction. You can also design and decorate a tree or wreath as part of your donation (please see the form for more details).
Where does the money go? The Yukon Hospital Foundation is very close to our goal of fundraising $2 million for the new Mental Wellness Unit at Whitehorse General Hospital. The new unit is set to open in early 2025.
This purpose-built space will provide Yukoners experiencing a mental health crisis with a safe, culturally appropriate environment, offering the room to heal and recover. It will help ensure that patients have access to the care and support they need during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
When it comes right down to it, your gift will provide space for recovery and hope. As Yukoners, this is something we can all invest in together.
